When you look for a video from photos, the first question is how much it costs. The answer is simple: a price for each package. Here you will find all the packages and what each one includes.
What are the prices?
| Length | Photos | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 1 minute | 12 | ₪79.90 |
| 2 minutes | 24 | ₪159.90 |
| 3 minutes | 36 | ₪219.90 |
| 4 minutes | 48 | ₪259.90 |
| 5 minutes | 60 | ₪299.90 |
| 6 minutes | 72 | ₪339.90 |
| 7 minutes | 84 | ₪379.90 |
| Up to 8 minutes | 100 | ₪419.90 |
You can upload anywhere from 2 to 100 photos. About 12 photos fit in a minute, and each photo is on screen for roughly 5 seconds.
What is included in the price?
- An HD film in 16:9, with no watermark.
- Download and a share link.
- Music from the library, or your own song.
- An opening card and an ending card.
- Extra tries and photo swaps, depending on the package.
- The film is usually ready 10 to 20 minutes after payment.
Not included: narration and subtitles, restoring or colorizing photos, and home-video clips. The film is made from photos only.
What if my number of photos is not one of the packages?
That happens almost every time. If you have 28 or 41 photos, there is an exact package for every number in between. You do not pay for photos you do not have, and you do not have to give up good photos to reach a package. We suggest choosing strong photos rather than filling a package with weak ones. More in the how many photos you need chart.
How do I choose a package?
Choose by the occasion and by how long you want to play the film. A rule of thumb:
| Occasion | Length that fits | Photos |
|---|---|---|
| A baby's first year | 1 minute | 12 |
| A child's birthday | 1 to 2 minutes | 12 to 24 |
| An anniversary | 2 to 4 minutes | 24 to 48 |
| Bar or bat mitzvah | 3 to 5 minutes | 36 to 60 |
| Family history | 3 to 8 minutes | 36 to 100 |
These are rough estimates, not rules. If you are unsure, start shorter. A short film with strong photos is better than a long film with weak ones.
Can I check before I pay?
Yes. The first 2 animations are free, no credit card, once per person. You can see how your photos look in motion, and then decide. And if something is not right after you buy, you can request a refund within 30 days of purchase, under the refund policy on the site.
What changes the price, and what does not?
The price is set by the length of the film and the number of photos. So when you add photos, the price goes up gradually, and when you shorten the film, it goes down. What does not change the price is your choice of music, whether you upload your own song, or the opening and ending cards, which are all part of the film.
Keep the other side in mind, too: a film made for an important event is usually a small investment compared with the event itself, but there is no reason to pay for a length you do not need. So start with the question of how long you want to play it, and only then choose a package. If you are in doubt, you can try the first 2 animations for free and decide afterward.
How does this compare with making it yourself or using a studio?
Making it yourself in software takes time and learning. A studio adds conversations, scheduling, and waiting. Here the process happens on the site, and your film is ready within minutes of payment. There is a detailed comparison in the article on doing it yourself or using a studio.
You can download the finished film and share it, and you can play it at an event. On the growing-up video page you can see an example.
